Kiddo Real Name: Miguelito Banaag Birth Date: April 13, 1990 Height: 5'5" Weight: 110 lbs Base of Operation: Pampanga and Nearby towns Powers and Weapons: Extremely Sharp Retractable Claws and Teeth Superhuman Strength and Agility Enhanced Self Healing Hightened Senses Berserker Form (happens in a limited span of time because of extreme anger and adrenaline rush) Natural talent of Creating Improvised Weapons Story: Celia was raped by one of her suitors after refusing the love it offered. The suitor happened to be a Horde Commander of an Aswang Clan planning to attack the Luzon Area. The unholy act resulted to the pregnancy of Celia, Kiddo's mother. After learning about his suitor's real identity(which happened to be the time she was being raped, maybe because of exhilirating feeling of sex, the commander was unaware that he was transforming bit by bit), Celia tried to abort the child by taking locally brewed concoctions (like the ones sold in Quiapo) but the young one hanged-on till the day he was born. After giving birth and regaining enough strength, Celia brought the newborn in a Monastery, hoping that if the child grows there, his aswang being will be purged. Kiddo grew in the care of the loving monks. They saw Kiddo's natural talent of creating improvised things from scratch. Everything went normal until his 13th birthday, Kiddo's first transformation happened. Because of this, the monks trained Kiddo to fight his bloodlust and controlling his Aswang abilities. Kiddo decided to use his powers for the Good of others and against the Aswangs ravaging their land, and to find the whereabouts of his mother. Because of this decision, the monks reffered Kiddo to an Ermitanyo living at the foot of Mount Arayat, Apung Pio. He trained the boy to better control his abilities through meditation and through the help of the MUTYA NG SAGING,and taught him the martial Art SIKARAN (refer to http://www.sikaran.com/history.htm). And so the Adventures of Kiddo, the Hunter, started!

I will be also posting my drawings here. So stay tuned for them. Here is my opening salvo. This is Kiddo, my original character. He is an Aswang. Me and my partner in Team Czetea, Teardrop, are planning to create a comics for our characters. This is Niño, Teardrops character. I will post more drawings soon.

SUMMER KOMIKON

This is soooooooooooooooo awesomely great! I can say I am now officially a human!!! (Tao nako!) I have recently attended the KOMIKON SUMMER FIESTA at the Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman last May 16, 2009. It is a gathering of many comic book enthusiasts, indie and pro artists! I'm so glad I attended the event, now I know that I'm not the only childish errrrr child-like person in this side of the planet! Marami kame! hehehehe :D This is my first time to attend such event. I met many new friends! Here are some pictures I got. Let me share them: I met the sweet couple Myke Guisinga and Robin Rivero. Ate Robin also signed my Old Questor Magazines! Sweeeeeet!!! Finally I am faceto face with one of my idols! Kalayaan Comics creator Sir Gio Paredes! Gave him a bibingkang duman, I just don't know if he shared it with the rest of the gang! hehehehe! Peace sir Gio! Then Sir Gio introduced me to Kalayaan's upcoming guest artist, the astiging Erwin Ropa! He let me browse his portfolio, and man, I was in awe! Wow! I'm in awe! It's Sir Gerry Alanguilan of Superman: Birthright, Wasted and Elmer! I bought his ELMER Comic book and had it signed! This is really awesome! I get to meet my coloring sensei! The fantastic comic book colorist Omi Remalante! Oh my Gulay! It's Sarge in the flesh!!! It's Sir Gilbert Monsanto signing my Bayan Knights copies! With him is his lovely wife Ma'am Glenda Monsanto. Isn't that Bossing Ner Pedrina of Sanduguan??? Asteeeeeeeeeeeegg! I also had the chance to meet other "eccentric" pips like the ever Sexy Aaron Felizmenio (Gwapoman, last guy from left) and Wan Mananita (Morion, Unos Mundos, besides Aaron). Beside me is Myke Guisinga (Claw) This time around with the Creator of Manila Man, Rhiver Quilantang! (middle of Wan and Me) sitted is Ms. Robin Rivero. Finally! We met (thatione?), let me introduce my partner in crime, the legendary (isa siyang alamat) Teardrop (He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named hehehe :D). I had to meet other people from the Komikon but didn't have the chance to be pictured with them... Thanks for the company guys! And now some pics with my beloved partner, Grace. Still I have still so many DA friends that I haven't met... Anyway, there are other Komikons to attend! I have been to the Komikon... now I'm a believer!!!
